Port Lincoln Airport Upgrade

West Coast Bitumen delivered a comprehensive three-stage reseal and pavement maintenance program for the Port Lincoln Aerodrome. Works were executed across both day and night shifts to maintain continuous airport operations while ensuring high-quality surface delivery.

The project utilised a technical combination of bituminous treatments to address specific functional requirements across the facility.

Delivery Phases:

Stage 1: Application of 12,900m² of 7mm single coat seal, finished with an emulsion sand overlay to the apron area.

Stage 2: Profiling and reinstatement of 1,033 linear metres of runway wheel paths using 50mm deep asphalt installation.

Stage 3: 56,416m² of 14/7mm double coat S10E polymer-modified resealing across the main runway and Taxiway A. An additional 11,583m² of 7mm single coat S10E seal was applied to provide robust protection for runway and outer shoulders.
